How to Get More Cleavage in a Dress

You love the dress. You want the neckline to sit the way it did on the model. Here are the tricks that actually work, from free to fifteen seconds of effort.

1. Check your bra fit first

A band that's too loose lets everything sit low. A snug band and cups with no gaps do half the work. If you're unsure, check your size.

2. Add adhesive push-up inserts

The fastest change. Pop inserts stick inside your bra or the dress's built-in cups and add up to 2 cup sizes. Place them low and toward the outside of the cup so they push up and in.

3. Use a sticky bra with a front clasp

For backless or strapless dresses, a sticky bra with a front clasp pulls the cups together. The tighter you pull before clasping, the more cleavage you get.

4. Pick the right neckline

Sweetheart, plunge and square necklines frame the chest. High necks do the opposite. Browse fixes by neckline.

5. Tailor the dress

If the bodice gapes, a tailor can take it in at the side seams. Pair it with inserts for the fullest look.

6. Make sure nothing shows

An insert that's too big peeks out at the edge. That's why ours come in four sizes matched to your bra size.

The point is the outfit looking the way you pictured it. Your call how far you take it.
