Are Sticky Bras Safe for Your Skin?
Sticky bras are worn on skin for hours, so it's fair to ask what they do to it. Here is what to know and how to wear one comfortably.
What the adhesive is
Veluna Pop Up uses a hypoallergenic adhesive, and our Pop inserts use hypoallergenic, double-sided adhesive.
Patch test first
Everyone's skin is different. Before a big event, wear it for an hour at home. If you notice redness or itching, take it off.
Don't apply on
- Broken, irritated or sunburned skin
- Freshly shaved or waxed skin
- Skin with active breakouts
Take it off gently
Peel slowly from the top edge while holding the skin below. A little warm water helps. Ripping it off is what causes most redness.
How long can you wear one?
A full event or a night out is typical. Give your skin a break between long wears.
Keep it clean
A clean adhesive grips better and is kinder to skin. Wash after each wear (how to).
If you have a skin condition or concerns, check with your doctor before wearing any adhesive product.
