Sticky Bra Keeps Falling Off? 7 Fixes
If your sticky bra keeps falling off or peeling at the edges, the bra is rarely the problem. Run through these fixes in order.
1. There's something on your skin
Lotion, body oil, shimmer, self-tan, sunscreen and deodorant all stop adhesive from gripping. Wipe your chest with a damp cloth, dry completely, and reapply. This fixes most cases.
2. Your skin is damp
Post-shower humidity counts. Wait 10 minutes after showering, or cool down first on hot days.
3. The size is wrong
A cup that's too big overshoots and the edge lifts. Sticky bra sizes are not your bra tag. Check the size chart.
4. It's placed too high
Place each cup on the lower half of the bust, angled slightly up and out, then clasp. Placing it high puts all the weight on the top edge.
5. You didn't press it
Press each cup firmly for three to five seconds. Body heat activates the adhesive.
6. The adhesive is dirty
Skin oil and lint build up. Wash the adhesive with warm water and mild soap, air dry face up. See how to clean a sticky bra.
7. It's reached the end of its life
If it still won't grip after a clean and full dry, replace it. A 2-pack means you always have a fresh one.
